A little further out into the Bay, yet only a short distance from the City lies the picturesque Welcome islands, high cliffs, sheltered anchorage, winged wildlife. Put together a group of up to 8 for a family reunion, business outing, milestone birthday or invite only your favorite person for a romantic getaway or twilight sail.
8 hours $750.00 + HST 13%
Sail across the harbour to the Sleeping Giant, up the North Shore to Caribou Island, 'round the Welcome Islands towards Pie Island, hug the shoreline going south towards Mink Mountain, and if the wind is right get as far as Trowbridge Island.
12 hours $850.00 + HST 13%
Sail to Sawyers Bay at he the head of The Sleeping Giant, stop for a BBQ and climb to the lookout, swim sail back into the sunset over Thunder Bay.
Spend a day at the fabled Thompson Island. Trails, fantastic place to take the kids, swimming, sauna, fire pit and tree swings, lookouts, caves, nearby islands with abandoned mining shafts and Pukasqua pits.
